Gunnedah CBD Parking Review

Bitzios Consulting was engaged by Gunnedah Regional Council to develop a new parking plan and local infrastructure contribution plan for the region’s central business district (CBD). The plan replaced a previous 2018 strategy, and the project involved a refresh and update with the aim of ensuring that the region’s parking management remained current to meet the short, medium, and long term needs of the CBD. Parking surveys were conducted and compared with previous surveys to determine key parking trends and make recommendation on key actions. The project’s action plan included measures to not only improve parking but to also improve the ‘park and walk’ experience across the CBD.
